Dr. Yevgeniya Gaber is a Ukrainian foreign policy expert, Professor of national security studies at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council.
She specializes in European and Black Sea security, with a particular focus on Ukraine, Türkiye, and Russia.
Prior to joining the Marshall Center, Dr. Gaber worked as a foreign policy advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the MFA of Ukraine. She previously served as a diplomat in the Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara.
Dr. Gaber is a GMF Marshall Memorial Fellow, as well as a nonresident Senior Fellow at the Center in Modern Turkish Studies, Carleton University. She is widely published and is a frequent speaker at the diplomatic and defence academies across Europe.
