Giorgi Rukhadze is a founding member and Director of European Studies at Georgian Strategic Analysis Centre (GSAC). With over 20 years of extensive work experience in media, international relations and European politics, he is an active foreign and security policy speaker and the author of dozens of publications. He started his media career in late 90s as a foreign policy correspondent at Georgia Newspaper and later continued as the head of world news at IMEDI TV. In 2008-2013 Mr Rukhadze served as a director of the international office at the Christian Democratic Movement of Georgia (CDM), where he coordinated the party’s foreign policy and international relations. Between 2012-2020 Mr Rukhadze was a board member of the Brussels-based European Christian Political Movement (ECPM) and advised ECR group MEPs in the European Parliament on Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries. He has served as a visiting professor at various Georgian universities since 2010. He has a Masters degree in International Economic Relations from Tbilisi State Institute for Production Organization, and a postgraduate diploma in British Studies from North London University.
